Sarah McCreight is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who is dedicated and passionate about helping people walk through challenges and suffering while living lives full of meaning, satiety, and connection. Through promoting therapeutic self-exploration, Sarah helps clients reach their goals, while finding value and flourishing in their lives. Sarah earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Columbia International University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Covenant College.

Sarah welcomes clients from ages 10 and up from all walks of life, and is committed to creating an empathetic, nonjudgmental space. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and thoughtful. She draws from evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and parts work, radiating the heartbeat of her work from a person-centered lens. She tailors treatment to each client’s needs and goals, prioritizing a collaborative therapeutic experience.

Sarah is committed to working with those navigating the complex terrain of difficult emotions, grief, and healing from deep emotional wounds. She has a special interest in sexual/intimacy issues, eating disorders, body image issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and general life transitions. She also has specialized training in the integration of counseling and spirituality, and can incorporate a spiritual perspective into counseling if the client desires. Sarah believes that change happens when the client is safe, seen, soothed, and secure, and is deeply committed to cultivating a space where those experiences can unfold.
