Jaime Woodruff

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

I have lived in South Carolina all of my life. I attended Clemson University for my undergraduate degree and Colorado Christian University for my graduate degree. I have also gained years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals through ABA.

I often take a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, focusing on the thoughts, emotions, and perceptions that drive the individual in relation to their needs. Mindfulness and coping skills are an important aspect in my incorporation of this approach. A Gestalt approach is also a tool I like to use, while taking notice and addressing the individual in their present moment. I also take a Narrative approach, as the individual's story and their perceptions are a crucial element to creating new understandings, finding solutions, and implementing changes in their life.
