Jason E. Cochran is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive expertise in counseling. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities, which he earned from Columbia International University in 2000. Building upon his undergraduate studies, Jason pursued a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary, completing both degrees in 2011.

Jason’s professional qualifications include being a: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC); all issued by the State of South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Addiction Counselors and Psycho-Educational Specialists. Other Specialties and certifications include Registered Play Therapist through the Association of Registered Play Therapists. He is a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors and a member of the South Carolina Counseling Association which is a state-chartered branch of the American Counseling Association. Since February of 2013, Jason has been providing exceptional client care at Canterbury Counseling Center. With a commitment to professionalism and collaboration, Jason’s interests and specialties are children and families: parenting, young children and adolescence. He works with young adults through middle-aged adults. He also offers couples marital and premarital counseling. When working with pediatric clients, he provides family therapy to ensure comprehensive support.
